TUV India Awards TISAX Label to L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Limited

TUV India (TÜV NORD GROUP) is pleased to award the TISAX Label to M/s. L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Limited (LGB), encompassing three sites in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

TISAX, which stands for Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange, is a globally recognized standard for information security, particularly within the automotive industry. It's a framework designed to ensure that companies handling sensitive information, especially in the automotive supply chain, maintain a high level of data protection, to ensure the secure exchange of sensitive information and demonstrate their commitment to information security best practices.

L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros. Ltd (LGB) in Coimbatore is a leading manufacturer of automotive and industrial transmission products, including chains, sprockets, and metal formed parts. They are also involved in fine blanking and precision machining, and supply timing chains to 4-wheeler OEMs in India and is one of the leading timing chain exporters from India to the U.S.

The LGB Team successfully completed the TISAX assessment, highlighting their commitment to excellence within the European automotive supply chain. The TISAX Label was presented to Mr. P. Prabakaran (Managing Director) of L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Limited, by Mr. Shankar Mohan (Senior General Manager – Business Development, TUV India), during an award ceremony at their newly opened Centre of Excellence.
