Job Responsibility
Maintaining the Inspection Body management system in compliance with ISO / IEC 17020 and applicable regulatory requirement, ensuring continuous compliance with accreditation requirements and facilitating internal and external audits.
Responsible for leading, monitoring and timely implementation of ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 17020 (Inspection Body), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) requirements as well as Corporate Responsibility initiatives & Guidelines. This includes requirements of manuals and associated documents and facilitating the requirement of External Quality System Audits at Profit Center/ Region as detailed below.
Planning and preparing internal audits for Inspection Services at PC level in Coordination with QHSE Head (Inspection).
Working with EHS & EnMS Core Team within respective PC (For Inspection) to ensure ongoing implementation and compliance of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001.
Reporting the performance of the Quality System in accordance to ISO 9001 and ISO 17020 to Corporate QHSE Head (Inspection).
Reporting the performance of the EnHSE Management System in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001 to Corporate QA Head.
Ensuring that the requirement and improvements of Quality System as described in the manual, audits and associated documents are maintained and fully implemented.
Preparation of project quality plans, procedures and work instruction based on client input.
Stewarding compliance to HSE requirements within the organization & at work sites.
Documenting all Customer Complaints at PC level, forwarding it to Corporate QA and ensuring proper timely reply with Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
Ensuring effectiveness of monitoring (on-site & off-site) and mentoring.
Analyzing the trend of complaints, monitoring and mentoring observations, new skill requirements, effective mentoring and monitoring methodologies and schedules to be prepared and implemented.
To ensure effectiveness of QA Action Plan, which includes training, monitoring, mentoring, assessment of site engineers, surprise monitoring to be conducted.
To provide guidance to mentors for effective monitoring and mentoring based on the lesson learnt.
To prepare and circulate Lesson Learnt from the complaints, monitoring, mentoring, value additions NCRs and audits.
Monitoring trainings as per calendar, induction Training of new joiners, assessment at PC level and ensuring its effectiveness in coordination with corporate QA. Preparing Training modules.
Monitoring competence evaluation and upgrade and assignment at PC level.
Provide suggestions for improvement.
Review / enhancement of QAP /ITP.
Collecting data required for monthly QA review and for the process measure, and analyzing it for the further improvements.
Liaising with accreditation bodies for all the matters related to the Quality System.
Initiating modification/improvements to the QHSE System Manuals, Procedures, Work Instructions, Checklists based on the Internal Audit findings, Corrective Actions or other such triggers.
Maintaining records of the Management Review Meetings.
Developing methods for competency evaluation of inspection personnel. Identifying training needs and topics through the annual appraisal process, customer feedback, customer complaints, lessons learned, and monitoring activities.
Developing interactive methods for training and assessment of effectiveness.
Imparting training and assessing its effectiveness.
Conducting inspection activities for major clients.
Any other activity assigned by Corporate QHSE Head.
Attributes
The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of inspection and technical welding, NDT and fabrication and should be conversant of working with Third Party Inspection agency.
The candidate should have knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17020, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and QA/QC Processes.
The candidate should have excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
The candidate should be self-driven and target-oriented.
