5/7 to 10  Years Post Qualification experience in inspection / QA-QC activities 

• Graduate / Diploma Engineers – Mechanical Engineering 
• Level II, NDT qualification (RT, PT, UT and MT) is a must.
• Membership of professional bodies such as Indian Institute of Welding (IWE/ IWT), American Welding Society(AWS), CSWIP, Institute of Chartered Engrs. is preferred.
• Desired : AWS/CSWIP in welding or NACE / BGAS / API 936 in Coating / Refractory

Inspection/Quality Surveillance of site construction/ shop fabrication/ testing of - pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, other equipment, storage tanks, FRP Tanks / vessels, rubber / PTFE / glass lined equipment, line pipes, cross country pipelines, plant piping, structures, materials, components and NDT; in oil / gas / refinery / petrochemical/ chemicals / fertilizer / power sector.

• Additional valid NDT - ASNT / ISNT - LEVEL II / III (VT/LT/ET/PAUT/TOFD) certifications. 
• Excellent inspection skills
• Good interpersonal & communication skills and team player
• Sound knowledge of inspection from the following as per applicable standards: 

1. Pressure Vessels, Equipment, Heat Exchangers, boilers.  Should be familiar with manufacturing processes related to fabrication, welding control, heat treatment, inspection, testing, preservation, packing. Including CS / SS / LAS fabrication
2. Knowledge and experience of inspection of raw material, review of material test certificates (MTC) is essential.
3. Operation & maintenance of boilers.
4. Welding procedure/ welder qualifications- WPS/ PQR/ WPQ 
5. Hands on experience in NDE witness and interpretation of flaws is essential.
6. Plates, Piping Components / Fittings, Flanges, Pipes, Tubes, Welded Pipes, Fasteners, Gaskets; Fully conversant with materials and material testing.
7. Valves, Castings, Forgings – API / ASTM  
8. Structural Fabrication & Erection (AWS D1.1)
9. Piping Fabrication, NDT (ASME B 31.3)
10. Storage tanks, API 650; Cryogenic storage tanks API 620
11. Manufacture, testing and laying of oil and gas pipe line/ line pipe at pipe mill 
12. Pumps, compressors, blowers, diesel engine and other rotating equipment. Must have carried out/ witnessed performance tests, running trials. 
13. FRP Tanks / vessels, rubber / PTFE / glass lined equipment

• Sound knowledge of National/ International Standards and codes such as IS, ASTM, ASME SECTIONS – II, VIII Div.1 , IX,  V;  API  etc.  EN/ BS/ DIN/ AD 2000

Previous experience with Third Party Inspection Agency will be an  added advantage.
