The candidate must hold a valid NDT Level-II certification in Visual Testing (VT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), or Ultrasonic Testing (UT). The candidate should be proficient in reading complex engineering drawings, conducting welding inspections, painting, riveting, sealing, Gluing, torque tightening and performing dimensional checks using precision instruments. Familiarity with raw material testing, structural steel fabrication, and metallurgical properties, including hardness testing and microstructural analysis, is required. Direct experience in inspecting Rolling Stock components such as brake supports, bogie items, couplers, and shell components is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate strong integrity and objectivity, with an uncompromising commitment to quality and safety standards. The candidate should possess excellent written communication skills to prepare clear, accurate, and technically sound inspection reports and logs. The candidate should have expertise in evaluating functional testing parameters for heavy electrical equipment such as transformers, alternators, switchgears, and panels. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of soldering, multi-phase voltage configurations, phase balancing, insulation resistance testing using Megger, and high-voltage testing. The candidate should ensure physical compliance through accurate rating verification, nameplate riveting, and terminal security checks. Direct experience in inspecting Rolling Stock electrical components such as train lighting, air conditioning units, distribution boards, Induction motors, traction system and panels is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate strong integrity and objectivity, with an uncompromising commitment to quality and safety standards.
