Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

  • 7 -10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of in-service inspection & damage mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience with RBI software tools.

Additional Qualification

  • API 510 / 570 / 653 (any one certification required)
  • API 571 Certification
  • NDT/Welding Certification

Job Responsibility

  • Perform in-service inspections as per applicable codes.
  • Perform/coordinate NDT (UT, RT, MT, PT, PAUT, etc.)
  • Identify & evaluate damage mechanisms & recommend mitigation measures.
  • Perform data collection for RBI implementation and ensure data quality and completeness for RBI analysis.
  • Develop corrosion loops and determine damage mechanisms.
  • Perform quality reviews of corrosion/RBI data, ensuring proper credit of historical inspection data.
  • Support RLA and FFS assessments.
  • Provide field inspection & data collection support.
  • Interface with inspection, operation, and maintenance teams.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Prepare failure investigation reports.
  • Prepare inspection reports and inspection plans.
