B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Mining, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering. PMP/PG in Project Management is preferred

15–20 years of experience in PMC/ EPC/EPCM, mineral processing plants, concentrator plants, mining, process plants and project management

• Lead the end-to-end execution of concentrator expansion projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring achievement of project objectives related to safety, quality, schedule, cost, and performance guarantees.
• Establish and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) for planning, engineering coordination, procurement monitoring, construction management, commissioning and project controls.
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, technology providers, vendors and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.  
• Review and monitor engineering deliverables, design approvals, procurement activities, construction progress, commissioning readiness, and plant handover.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project and monitor critical paths, milestones and recovery plans.
• Coordinate engineering interfaces between process, civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, utilities and infrastructure disciplines.
• Lead risk identification, risk assessment, mitigation planning and maintain the project risk register covering technical, commercial, procurement, construction, HSE and schedule risks.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, change management, variation orders, invoice certification and commercial tracking.
• Ensure timely procurement of long-lead equipment, monitor logistics, expediting activities and delivery schedules.
• Oversee construction management activities, ensuring adequate deployment of manpower, equipment, materials and construction resources.
• Conduct weekly and monthly project review meetings with EPC contractors, vendors and client representatives.
• Prepare executive dashboards, MIS reports, project progress reports, critical path analysis, recovery plans and presentations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) regulations, environmental requirements, HSE standards, statutory approvals, Indian Standards and project governance requirements.
• Monitor HSE performance, permit-to-work systems, hazard identification, risk assessments, toolbox talks, incident investigations and implementation of zero-harm initiatives.
• Coordinate mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance guarantee testing and final plant acceptance.
• Review and approve commissioning procedures, punch lists, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, warranty documents, and project close-out reports.
• Resolve technical, contractual, procurement, construction, and stakeholder issues to maintain uninterrupted project execution.

Drive continuous improvement, value engineering, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Proven ability to manage large-scale EPC/EPCM projects from concept to commissioning.
• Strong leadership in multidisciplinary engineering and construction environments.
• Ability to manage multiple brownfield expansion projects simultaneously.
• Excellent project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project control skills.
• Strong contract administration, procurement, vendor, and stakeholder management capability.
• Thorough understanding of mineral processing plants, concentrator plants, utilities, and industrial infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, project controls, and earned value management.
• Excellent risk management, cost control, and decision-making capability.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to deliver projects within approved budget, schedule, quality, safety, and performance guarantee requirements.
• Proactive approach to driving project execution, resolving bottlenecks, and achieving operational readiness.
