Fasouri Watermania is presently the biggest Waterpark in Cyprus both in size (over 100.000 square meters – 25 acres) and number of attractions and facilities (with 30 different slides for all ages, two restaurants and three snack bars). We entertain thousands of local and tourists’ visitors every year.

EN 1147 Portable ladders for fire service use - This European Standard specifies requirements, test methods and performance criteria for portable ladders for fire and rescue service use and associated purposes. The tests in this European Standard are type tests and not periodical tests. Non-portable ladders for fire and rescue service use are excluded from this standard.

EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE ATEX & MACHINERY DIRECTIVE

The event was organized by TUV Cyprus and TUV Italy and it was held at 10 and 11 of May 2018 and was hosted by TUV Italy in Milano, Italy. There were 15 participants from Italy, Cyprus, England and Spain and another 3 TUV NORD colleagues, online participants from Thailand, India and China.

The event was very successful and the topics of the first day were addressed to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and the second day the topics were addressed to Machinery directive 2006/42/EC

ATEX Directive

TUV Cyprus is developing its workflow concerning the ATEX directive and expands its opportunities to other countries even in other continents and in cooperation with its TUV NORD group members in China and India.

Some of the latest projects concerns the ATEX directive were as like:

• Concerning our cooperation with Chine, 5 new projects for Storage of technical file according to According to the conformity assessment procedure as per Directive 2014/34/EU, Chapter II, Article 13, Paragraph (1), Letter b, Passage ii) the manufacturer forwarded technical documents for storage purposes acc. to Annex VIII, Number 3 of the Directive. 
• Concerning our cooperation with India 6 new projects for Storage of technical file according to According to the conformity assessment procedure as per Directive 2014/34/EU, Chapter II, Article 13, Paragraph (1), Letter b, Passage ii) the manufacturer forwarded technical documents for storage purposes acc. to Annex VIII, Number 3 of the Directive.

TRAINING

TUV Cyprus perform the seminar with title at 11-15/06/2018 “AUDITOR / LEAD AUDITOR (ISO 14001:2015) and the required ISO 19011:2011” in the premises of the Cyprus University of Technology.

There were 18 graduated students from the University and it was performed by Constanitnos Parinos.
