What is FSMA?
FSMA - Food Safety Modernization Act is a Food Safety law to ensure the safety of the U.S. food supply. This act shifts the focus to prevention of food contamination before it reaches the public.
FSMA Preventive Controls Preparedness Module and Guidance - Module 15
The aim of this Module is to assist manufacturing organizations to understand those prescriptive elements within the FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Foods that are not explicitly covered within the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety.
This Module is applicable to facilities located within the United States (as a preparedness assessment in preparation for regulatory compliance assessments) and those facilities currently or wishing to export products and ingredients to the United States.
