Upon registration of TUV USA Inc.’s on-site and pubic training courses including classroom, webinar and e-learning formats, these “Terms and Conditions” will automatically apply.
Special Attention to our Clients
Our on-site training option does not apply to any current IATF 16949:2016 certified organizations or organizations who are planning to be certified to IATF 16949:2016 Standard. We also do not offer IATF 16949:2016, automotive core tools, six sigma and lean manufacturing training courses to a specific organization on-site. We only offer these topics in our public course offerings.
Full Payment Required
All fees are due upon registration on-line, receipt of an invoice or signed training quote and must be paid in full. Registrations are only confirmed once the required full payment has been received by TUV USA Inc.. The following stated policies will apply upon registration.
Course Confirmation Notice will be sent to the delegate’s provided e-mail address prior to the start of the training course once the training course is confirmed under TUV USA Inc.’s Policy.
All delegates are highly recommended NOT to make any travel arrangement where applicable until Course Confirmation Notice has been received via e-mail. TUV USA Inc. shall not be held liable in the event that the delegates incur any expenses due to making travel arrangements, etc. before confirmation of the course is made by TUV USA Inc. via e-mail.
Policies on Cancellation (for On-site, Webinar and E-Learning Courses)
Upon receipt of the signed training quote, the full course payment is due immediately. No cancellation and refund is permitted.
Policies on Transfers, Withdrawals, Cancellations and No-Show (for Public Classroom, Webinar and E-Learning Courses)
Delegate may transfer his/her seat to another person for one-time only without penalty subject to TUV USA Inc.’s discretion. In this case, the delegate shall notify TUV USA Inc. in writing at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start of the scheduled course. If no written notice is received from the delegate at a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days, the delegate’s request for seat transfer will be declined. Please note that only written notification is acceptable in any case.
Subject to availability, any delegate may request to be transferred to another alternative training course for one time only without penalty subject to TUV USA Inc.’s discretion. In this case, the delegate shall notify TUV USA Inc. in writing at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start of the scheduled course. If no written notice is received from the delegate at a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days, the delegate’s request for transfer will be declined. Please note that only written notification is acceptable in any case. Any fees (if paid) will be credited towards the new course fee. Note: If the fee of the transferred course is higher than the registered course, the delegate shall be responsible for paying the difference in course fees.
If the delegate decides to withdraw from a registered course, there will be a 50% refund (if paid) when a written notice of withdrawal is received by our office at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start of the training course. There will be no refund if the written notice of withdrawal is received by our office less than thirty (30) calendar days before the start date of the training course or if the delegate does not attend the training course at all (i.e. no-show). If the delegate registers for our training course less than thirty (30) calendar days from the start date of the course and decides to withdraw from the registered class, full payment of the required course fee shall be made and no refund of any paid amount shall be allowed in any circumstances. Please note that only written notification is acceptable in any case.
TUV USA Inc. reserves the right to cancel any training courses at any time due to unforeseen circumstances such as insufficient registration, instructor emergency. TUV USA Inc. shall not be liable whatsoever in respect to the consequence of such cancellation. In the event that TUV USA Inc. decides to cancel the training course, the registered delegate will automatically be transferred to our next available course of similar nature. If requested by the delegate, the delegate will be entitled to receive a refund (if paid) or have the paid fee credited toward another training course.
Note: Please note that we use TUV USA Inc.’s receipt date of your written notice to calculate the 30 calendar days.
TUV USA Inc. tries every effort to avoid increases in our course fees. In the event of a course fee increase, delegates will be notified and new course fee will apply.
TUV USA Inc. tries every effort to satisfy our customers. However, due to increased workload for re-issuing past course certificates per customers’ requests, TUV USA Inc. will impose a fee of $99.00 with applicable taxes (in US fund for delegates residing in US or internationally and in CAD fund for delegates residing in Canada) for each re-issued certificate. We will issue the certificate in hardcopy and send it to the delegate’s provided mailing address via ordinary mail.
