Quality Management System for Supply Chain of the Nuclear Energy Sector

Quality Management System for Supply Chain of the Nuclear Energy Sector

A new standard for supply chain of the nuclear energy sector: Quality Management System ČSN ISO 19443:2019 was issued in February 2019 – Specific requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2015 by organizations in the supply chain for the nuclear energy sector supplying products and services important to nuclear safety.

The standard incorporates the requirements of the IAEA document - General Safety Requirements No. GSR Part 2 Leadership and Management for Safety and translates the system requirements for (nuclear) safety management into the EN ISO 9001:2015 environment. Fundamentally, it directs the priority of the goals of the management system towards nuclear safety. Therefore, meeting the requirements of the new standard requires quite a fundamental reconstruction of the management system introduced according to EN ISO 9001:2015.

In order to meet these requirements and the success of your organization on the nuclear market, which currently offers a wide range of possibilities for the application of your products and services, we offer:

  • compliance review of the management system with the requirements of ČSN ISO 19443: 2019, or ISO 19443:2018
  • a differential audit
  • a certification audit (with TÜV NORD Czech non-accredited certificate issued)
  • a simple transition to an accredited certificate after the certification has been introduced into the Czech accreditation system.
