Course Overview

This five-day ISO 22301:2019 Lead Auditor course will provide you with sufficient information and detailed knowledge of the ISO 22301:2019 Standard and all the necessary skills to perform process-based first-party, second-party and third-party audits based on ISO 22301:2019 Standard in the role of lead auditor managing an audit team.  Through lectures, group discussion, exercises, workshops and case studies, we will explore the underlining meaning and requirements of the ISO 22301:2019 Standard and equip our attendees with all the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to plan, conduct and report process-based audits, write nonconformities and to conduct follow-up on any nonconformities in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 Standard.  This course helps attendees to become qualified as lead auditors in any types of audits. 

Course Description

During this course, there are eighteen modules to explore different clauses of the ISO 22301:2019 Standard, the types of audits, documentation review, audit planning, conducting opening meeting, audit interview, audit team meeting and closing meeting, raising and writing nonconformances, completing corrective action report and final report and conducting follow-up audit.

 

Module 1: Basic Information about Business Continuity Management Systems

In this module, you will learn about the basic information on the Business Continuity Management System.

Module 2: Standard Interpretation

In this module, you will learn the requirements of ISO 22301:2019 Standard from Clause 1 to 10 including Context of the Organization, Leadership, Planning, Support, Operation, Performance Evaluation and Improvement.

Module 3: Audits Types and Definition

In this module, you will learn different types of audits including first party, second party and third party audits and their definitions. 

Module 4: Audit Planning

In this module, you will learn how to schedule and plan process-based audit based on the importance of the processes, changes affecting the organization and the previous audit results and develop process-based audit plan.

Module 5: Audit Preparation

In this module, you will learn what is the preparation required before conducting an internal audit.

Module 6:  Conducting and Reporting Audit

In this module, you will learn how to conduct process-based internal audit using different methods and how to report process-based internal audit results on an audit report. 

Module 7:  Writing Nonconformances

In this module, you will learn how to write nonconformances based on audit evidence collected during an audit and how to complete nonconformance and corrective action reports.

Module 8:  Follow-Up on Nonconformances 

In this module, you will learn how to conduct follow-up on any nonconformances raised during an audit. 

Module 9: BCMS and the Legal Compliance

In this module, you will learn about the relationship of BCMS and the legal compliance.

Module 10: Accreditation and Certification

In this module, you will learn about the difference between accreditation and certification.

Module 11: How to Conduct Document Review with Case Study

In this module, you will learn how to perform document review against ISO 22301:2019 Standard in the form of case study. 

Module 12: How to Conduct Opening Meeting with Role Play

In this module, you will learn how to conduct opening meeting in the form of role play.

Module 13: How to Conduct Interview with Role Play

In this module, you will learn how to conduct interview in the form of role play.

Module 14: How to Raise Nonconformances with Case Study

In this module, you will learn how to raise proper nonconformances in the form of case study.

Module 15: How to Conduct Audit Team Meeting with Role Play

In this module, you will learn how to conduct audit team meeting in the form of role play.

Module 16: How to Conduct Closing Meeting with Role Play

In this module, you will learn how to conduct closing meeting in the form of role play.

Module 17: How to Complete Corrective Action Report with Role Play

In this module, you will learn how to conduct complete a full corrective action report in the form of role play.

Module 18: How to Complete Final Audit Report with Role Play

In this module, you will learn how to conduct complete a full final audit report in the form of role play.
