
The BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard focuses on food safety and hygiene in the food processing sector. This international standard meets the requirements of ISO 17065 and is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
The standard is intended for companies that process or prepare food. It provides clear guidelines for food safety, product authenticity, quality and operational processes. The aim? To ensure that companies comply with legal obligations and provide optimum protection for consumers.
The structure of the standard allows independent certification bodies, such as TÜV NORD INTEGRA, to assess the production environment, systems and procedures based on the established standard requirements.
