In order to monitor GMO-free production in a uniform manner, the German organisation VLOG has developed a standard, supported by various partners from the sector. This standard was developed in collaboration with representatives from the food and animal feed industry, certification bodies, interest groups and government agencies.
The VLOG standard helps companies in the food or feed sector to comply with the legal requirements for GMO-free production. It provides clear guidelines and uniform control methods for certification bodies.
