The grand opening ceremony of TÜV NORD Photovoltaic Laboratory was held at the hip destination Three on the Bund in Shanghai. More than 150 companies and over 200 guests from the photovoltaic industry chain, financial institutions and investors joined in a major event.
Gained a lot of experiences
Bohua Wang, General Secretary of the Chinese Photovoltaic Industry Association, emphasised TÜV NORD’s significance as an independent international certification body and its long tradition. In the past few years TÜV NORD has gained a lot of experience in the field of PV products as well as inspections of huge solar power plants and their certification. “I am convinced that the new lab will give momentum to and strengthen the Chinese Photovoltaic Industry.” The new 1,200-square-metre lab in Shanghai is certified according to the ISO / IEC 17025 standard. It complements the hitherto existing services such as the testing of PV modules.
