Products placed in Thailand market need approvals through TISI mark. The product certification schemes of TIS consist of two types with different certification marks. They are voluntary certification mark and mandatory certification mark. TUV NORD (Thailand) is approved by TISI to undertake inspections as per TISI guidelines.
Product certification procedure of TISI consists of the following
- Inspection before a license is granted
- Surveillance after a license is granted
Inspection before a License is Granted
1. Inspection before a license is granted will be conducted as follows:
1.1 Inspection of the quality control system of the manufacturers.
1.2 Testing products.
2. Inspection of the quality control system of the manufacturers.
The quality control system of the manufacturers will be inspected by competency inspectors according to TISI regulation.
