Review electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, datasheets, schedules, vendor documents, and other technical submissions.
Review, as applicable, HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors/drives, cables, earthing, lightning protection, electrical protection, emergency/standby power, and interfaces with other disciplines.
Identify technical discrepancies, omissions, design risks, and potential non-compliances; issue clear comments and recommendations.
Review responses and revised documents following comments and support closure of technical issues.
Participate in technical clarification meetings when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Valid Professional Engineering License/Registration recognized by the Council of Engineers Thailand (COE Thailand).
Relevant experience in electrical design, design review, engineering consultancy, EPC, project construction, or industrial projects.
Good knowledge of applicable Thai and/or international electrical engineering standards and engineering practices.
Ability to independently review technical documents and provide technically justified comments in English.
Ability to provide support on relatively short notice when document review is required.
Preferred Experience
Experience in project construction projects is preferred.
Experience in mining projects will be considered an advantage.
Experience in mineral processing, heavy industry, power generation, petrochemical facilities, EPC projects, engineering consultancy, or Owner's Engineer / Independent Engineer assignments will be beneficial.
Working Arrangement
Freelance / On-call engagement with no guaranteed minimum working hours.
Workload is intermittent and depends entirely on project document submissions and review priorities.
Time is recorded and compensated based on actual hours worked.
Most reviews may be performed remotely, with meetings or site attendance when required.
Expected response times and review turnaround periods will be agreed upon for each assignment.
