Qualification

Graduate Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (minimum 10 years' experience), or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (minimum 15 years' experience)

Experience

Minimum experience of 10 years in the S&T field of Infrastructure/ Railway/Buildings Projects. 

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary operational lead responsible for the overall planning, execution, and deliverables as per respective project agreement, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, budgets, and allocated resources across all assigned sites, including technical and operational accountability and serve as the SPOC for PMC business activities at Jodhpur, Raipur, and other locations as required.
  • Assign and deploy project staff to various roles across all project sites based on job requirements, individual competency, and technical requirement- throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with railway authorities, client representatives, and internal teams to coordinate approvals, resolve technical non-conformities, attend client escalations, and ensure milestone adherence - maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Oversee site execution activities including site surveys; signal, foundation, glued joint, and SRJ markings; trenching, cable laying, and insulation testing; and installation of all S&T equipment required for railway signalling and electrification works.
  • Monitor the erection and installation of signal posts, axle counters, point machines, track lead junction boxes, tuning boxes, and level crossing protection systems, and oversee commissioning of signals, track circuits, and point motors at site.
  • Oversee indoor and outdoor signalling works including setup and commissioning of EI rooms (HITACHI/ELF), IPS rooms (Statcon batteries), and telecom rooms (SMPS, EPBAX, FDMS, STM, PDMUX).
  • To oversee the plans and coordinate testing, pre-commissioning checks, and commissioning of signalling systems in accordance with client requirements and railway authority standards.
  • Monitor and review all design documents and drawings including outdoor axle counter circuit books, signal interlocking plans, CCP, CRP, control tables, SIP, control cable drawings, as-built and as-erected drawings, cable core plans, track bonding plans, and cable route plans, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for client approval.
  • Monitor the maintenance of site execution DPR and all site-related registers, and support preparation of bills as per M-Book with timely follow-up for payment processing and billing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational and technical issues at site, providing technical guidance to site teams, ensuring quality compliance, and driving timely resolution of non-conformities raised.

  • Demonstrate strong communication and professional correspondence skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate across EPC, railway authorities, and internal teams.
  • Possess sound proficiency in project management, applicable railway S&T codes & standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining comprehensive reports and ensuring all site activities - spanning planning, execution, testing, and commissioning with flexibility to travel as required.
