Qualification

  • Graduate Degree in any discipline (Engineering preferred or Pure Sciences or equivalent).
  • Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, as a minimum.
  • Knowledge of ISO 17021-1, ISO 17065, ISO 17029, IAF MDs, scheme-specific rules, as applicable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of certification business and processes

Experience

Min 8-10 years of industry experience inclusive of min. 3-4 years experience in handling QA, Accreditation or Technical management in Certification Body.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the TUV India / TUV NORD Quality Management System is complied with for all certification activities, including requirements of ISO 17021-1, ISO 17065, ISO 17029, applicable IAF MDs and related accreditation standards.
  • Overall responsible for maintaining the Operational KPIs, including scheme-specific KPIs, as governed by TNC / scheme-owners (e.g. IATF, Food, AS, Social, etc)
  • Monitor & ensure that the Offer Review Approvals as well as Audit Team & Effort Approvals (ATEA) are done in line with the organizational as well as accreditation requirements in a timely manner.
  • Carry out completeness checks of the audit reports for the different types of audits performed e.g. initial audit, main audit, routine surveillance audits, special audits, recertification audit and transfer audits for various management system standards.
  • Liaise with the Certification Body team of TUV NORD at Germany regarding any proposed changes to the TUV India / TUV NORD Management System on its design and implementation.
  • Maintain and update the records and database with the qualification & experience of Auditors, Lead Auditors and Specialists within their area that are allocated to deliver as per the System Certification contracts, and to ensure that only personnel approved through the CDS team are employed upon such activities.
  • Keep track of updates on TNCERT extranet and ensure timely upload of relevant procedures (related to TNCERT/TUV India) on the TUV India SharePoint.
  • Ensure the TUV India / TUV NORD Quality Management System is complied with for all certification activities.
  • Ensure appropriate training of all personnel within their area and in accordance with the TUV India / TUV NORD Management System requirements (local as well as global).
  • Prohibit & Report on any technical deviations to Manager - Accreditation &/or Cluster Head directly related to the concerned area office.
  • Participate and Cooperate for demonstrating compliances during Accreditation audits.
  • Undertake QA initiatives & internal compliance audits for the certification activities within Cluster India in accordance with the formal internal audit schedule.
  • Facilitate the Management Review and Impartiality Review process for the System Certification activities.
  • Handling & Resolution of customer complaints/appeals related to System Certification operations.
  • Manage the Suspension Control process centrally & report on matters relating to the suspension, withdrawal and cancellation of certificates and other accreditation related activities within area of responsibility.
  • Co-ordinate & facilitate the planning & execution of accreditation audits programmes.
  • Liaise with Accreditation Bodies / TN CERT on matters related to obtaining, protecting & enhancing the accreditation portfolio.
    Provide technical support to all product managers within Cluster India for any technical aspects pertaining to any scheme-specific requirements
  • Support product managers on launch of any new schemes and its revision including application, obtaining and maintaining its required accreditation
  • Support to TUV India / TUV NORD network and TUV NORD CB team on any technical matters.
  • Implement & streamline Excellence upgrades, incl training excellence.
  • Support for ongoing implementation of the EHS initiatives & Corporate Management System requirements within TUV India.
