Job Responsibility

  • Act as Management Representative for leading, timely implementation and monitoring of ISO 17025 (Testing Laboratory), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management) systems requirements as well as ensuring compliance with Corporate Responsibility initiatives & Guidelines, including requirements of manuals and associated documents on all India basis.
  • Handle NABL, BIS, and TEC audits.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits for product testing laboratories.
  • Monitor calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Report the performance of the management system in accordance with ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards to the management and Corporate QHSE Head for review.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, including adherence to the applicable legal framework within the organization and at work sites.
  • Monitor the energy baseline and energy performance index of the laboratory and take necessary actions.
  • Identify training needs and relevant topics through the annual appraisals, customer feedback, customer complaints, lessons learned and monitor related activities.
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies regarding all the matters related to the Laboratory Management System.
  • Initiate modifications/improvements to QHSE System Manuals, Procedures, Work Instructions, and Checklists based on Internal Audit findings, Corrective Actions or other such triggers.
  • Maintain records of Management Review Meetings.
  • Develop methods for competency evaluation of Testing & Certification.
  • Develop interactive methods for training & assessment of effectiveness.
  • Conduct training sessions and assess training effectiveness.
  • Prepare project quality plans, procedures and work instructions based on client requirements.
  • Document all customer complaints and ensure timely responses and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance to personnel.
  • Monitor and update QA documentation on the Share Portal / Server.
  • Monitor Technical Circulars.
  • Monitor competence evaluation and upgradation of personnel.

Attributes

  • In-depth knowledge of Product Testing Laboratory, with a strong background in both operations and quality systems
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 processes.
  • Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 17025, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical Skills.
  • Self-driven and target oriented.
  • An extrovert and a strong team player.
