Inspection of hazardous equipment
TUV NORD Baltik is an authorized institution for inspection of hazardous equipment in Latvia. The company is accredited by the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau LATAK in accordance with standard LVS EN ISO / IEC 17020 (accreditation certificate LATAK-I-136) for carrying out inspection of hazardous equipment in the following areas:
- lifting equipment (elevators, lifting cranes, lifts for lifting people, etc.)
- stationary pressure equipment (simple pressure vessels, pressure equipment with firing of heat, refrigerating pressure equipment, pressure equipment intended for injection of combustible and explosive gases)
- transportable pressure equipment (portable tanks and containers)
- transportable gas cylinders and stations for filling of gas cylinders
- main pipelines (for transportation of oil, gas, steam and hot water)
- storages of hazardous substances (tanks intended for storage of hazardous substances, gas fillling stations)
- Simple pressure vessels (Module C)
- Approval of the procedures for the permanent joining (welding and / or brazing) of the pressure equipment parts.
