TUV India received approval as Empanelled Agency by IREDA
TUV India Pvt. Ltd. part of TÜV NORD GROUP is now empanelled by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), which is a mini Ratna (category 1) Government of India Enterprise established as a non-banking financial institution under the administrative control of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). IREDA is primarily engaged in promoting, developing and extending financial assistance for setting up projects in the Renewable Energy sector.
TUV India is empanelled with IREDA for:
- Resource Assessment - Wind and Solar Projects
- Lenders Engineers for Wind Energy Projects, Ground Mounted solar, Large scale Roof Top, Small scale Roof Top.
Resource assessment is the process by which solar/wind power developers estimate the future energy production of a solar plant/wind farm. TUV India will play a critical role in assessing the resources of wind & solar projects by estimating the energy production with the help of various meteorological data drawn from required software. This data will be recorded for at least a year.
Lender’s Engineers shall give confidence to the lenders on their investment decisions. TUV India Engineers will ensure plant’s feasibility and technical due diligence of the project. Our engineers will do plenty of detailed project reviews before giving a final report to lender. TUV India team will assist lenders to evaluate projects for financing from technical, contractual, construction and commissioning risks perspective.
TUV India will play a vital role in IREDA’s imminent solar and wind projects.
On this important development our Managing Director Mr Manish Bhuptani said “TUV India approval as Empanelled Agency by IREDA will further help in expediting & reaching the Government of India’s goal of 175GW from Renewable sources by 2022. TUV India as responsible organization is committed to support the cause of clean energy in India.”
