Experience
- Total experience of 20 years after graduation.
- 10 years of experience in Third Party Inspection or in inspection field, out of which at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of at least 25 employees.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Metro Rail / Indian Rail coaches Manufacturing process / Final product inspection
Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical or equivalent degree
- Full time Post Graduation in Engineering/ Technology/ Management
Job Profile
- Lead, coordinate and supervise the work and shall be responsible for governance of the TPI Agency team.
- He will be accountable for ensuring integrity, ethics and professionalism in work.
- He will take all necessary actions to achieve the above objectives.
- The actions taken shall include but will not be limited to the following:
- Develop, implement and maintain a system of checks and balances
- Conduct super-checks, surprise checks from time to time
- Take action in cases where non-compliance is observed or reported and submit to the Authority a report documenting all such incidents, along with monthly reports
- Act as the technical expert for the TPI Agency and verify that the inspections conducted meet the required standards
- Act as the nodal person responsible for dealing with the Authority.
- To review Inspection Scheme prepared by the General Manager.
- To review quality suggestions for improvement in process inspection prepared by the General Manager.
- To review Action Taken Report (ATR) prepared by General Manager and ensure it is submitted within 30 days after finalization of Joint Inspection outcome.
- To ensure that the penalties are kept under control or to a minimum.
- To ensure that the overall KPI score is maintained above 70% and implement a mitigation plan to prevent a loss of KPI score in the future.
- Review the monthly report prepared by the General Manager about inspections carried out within 7 days after the end of each month and submit it to the Authority.
- To maintain Zero Customer Complaints to avoid losing points in the KPI score.
- To submit the monthly GST invoice on or before the 7th day of each month for product inspection and process inspection.
- Participate in the three-member committee consisting of the Project Director, Team Leader and two members nominated by the Authority. Matters in which difficulties are being faced may be referred to this committee to find mutually acceptable solutions to remove those difficulties.
