Senior Manager / Manager - Business Development & Contract Management For Petroleum, Chemical & Gas (PCG) Testing Services

Location

Mumbai and Ahmedabad

Reporting To

Vice President & Laboratory Head

Experience

With 10+ years’ experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration.  Preference will be given to person from Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) background.

Qualification

B.Tech/Diploma/B.SC/M.SC preferably MBA or Post Graduate in Business Management

Job Profile

  • Propose, co-ordinate and implement business development strategies for the development of Petroleum, Chemical & Gas (PCG) Testing Services 
  • Develop Business Plan for PCG Testing Services 
  • Achieve the sales target 
  • Periodic business development review to highlight the progress, gaps and further actions to be aligned to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved in time.
  • Suggest strategic business development initiatives and priorities.
  • Provide valuable benchmarking for management as well as timely insights to the BU Head.  
  • Conducting research, market survey, relevant information and suitably review & implement strategies.
  • Perform sales and marketing activities of the company and establish appropriate systems and processes to grow the customers and market share of PCG Testing Services
  • Proactive engagement of the existing and potential customers for the effective delivery of agreed budgets and targets for sales, marketing and account management support. 
  • Formulate as well as assist company strategies to diversify in new complementary markets and products
  • Assist in annual business planning process for upcoming corporate initiatives and operating framework.
  • Identify the opportunities for PCG Testing Services and map with our existing sectors, if TUV India not present, prepare the strategy and present to BUHs.
  • Specific strategic initiatives towards Digital Marketing, Social Media success and brand visibility
  • Through the in-depth understanding of user needs, identify new opportunities and markets for offering PCG Testing Services. 
  • Monitor and manage sales and support processes 
  • Coordinate the exercises designed to capture the Voice of the Customer
  • Focus on continuous improvement so also propose and develop new services for PCG Testing Services.
  • Handling complete Tender Activities 
  • Tender Search on various portals
  • Handle complete qualification and documentation 
  • Liaison with Legal for Risk management and Finance for EMD/SD
  • Maintain an MIS of all POs and EMD’s/SD
  • Client co-ordination for Pre-Bid/Query replies
  • Handle the complete sales and marketing team for domestic enquiries
  • Handle international clients
  • Complete operational activities for major Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs).  
  • Co-ordinate with client for sampling and reports
  • Ensure all invoices for projects completed on time
  • Clear all outstanding for major clients handled
  • KAM for major clients and all PSU clients
  • Ensure Budget for Lab is met on monthly basis
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the BU Head
