5 -7 (BE) / 7 to 9 (Diploma)  Years of experience in Inspection / QA-QC activities 

• Full Time Bachelor / Diploma  – Mechanical / Production / Metallurgical Engineering
• Level II, NDT qualification (RT, PT, UT and MT) is a must.
• Preferred: Membership of professional bodies such as Indian Institute of Welding, American Welding Society (AWS), Institution of Engineers, Chartered Engrs. etc. 
• Desired : Welding Qualifications – IWE/ IWT/ CSWIP/ AWS, Coating / Insulation Inspection - NACE / BGAS / API 936, Level II NDT in VT/ LT/ ET
   

Inspection / Quality Surveillance of site construction / shop fabrication / testing of - material, pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, other equipment, Storage tanks, line pipes, cross country pipelines, valves, Plant Piping, structures, NDT in the oil / gas refinery sector Or petrochemical/ chemicals industry Or Power/ Water/ other Sector.

• Excellent inspection skills; Good interpersonal & communication skills; Team player
• NDT - ASNT / ISNT - LEVEL II (UT/RT/MT/PT) with valid certificates.
• Desirable: Level II (VT/LT/ET), Level III (UT/RT/MT/PT)  
• Experience and knowledge in manufacturing and inspection of some of the following:-

1. Pressure Vessels, Equipment, Heat Exchangers, boilers.  
2. Should be familiar with manufacturing processes and specifications related to -materials, fabrication, welding control, Visual inspection, dimensional examination, NDT witness, heat treatment, inspection, testing, preservation, packing. 
3. Operation & maintenance of boilers.
4. Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP), rubber & composite materials - Equipment, pipes, fittings, pipelines, items 
5. Welding procedure/ welder qualifications- WPS/ PQR/ WPQ
6. Plates, Piping Components / Fittings, Flanges, Pipes, Tubes, Welded Pipes, Fasteners, Gaskets, Castings, Forgings; Fully conversant with materials and material testing.
7. Valves, (API, ASME B 16.34)
8. Structural Fabrication & Erection (AWS D1.1/ IS 800)
9. Piping Fabrication, NDT (ASME B 31.3)
10. Storage tanks, API 650; Cryogenic storage tanks API 620
11. Sound knowledge of National/ International Standards and codes such as IS, ASTM, ASME SECTIONS – II,  VIII Div.1 , IX,  V;  API  etc.  EN/ BS/ DIN/ AD 2000
12. Manufacture, testing and laying of oil and gas pipe line/ line pipe at pipe mill 
13. Pumps, compressors and other rotating equipment. Must have carried out/ witnessed performance tests, running trials. Knowledge of applicable codes such as API 610 etc.
14. Machining process, Precision machined components, GD&T, CMM, interface inspection, assembly, Aerospace standards

• Currently Working with Third Party Inspection Agency will be an  added advantage
