M.Sc. Chemistry/Biotech/Biochem or B.Tech / M.Tech Food Technology- Preferred Food Analyst 

• Responsible to implement test methods/process/audit as per regulatory guidelines (NABL, EIC, APEDA, FSSAI) in section.
• Ensure validation data & calibration of all instruments, chemical, consumable, Glassware etc.
• To face regulatory and customer audits in the lab
• Responsible to maintain Quality Management System in Section
• Proactive Support to entire proximate section and resolve technical queries.
• Allocation of day to day work to the technical staff and supervising the work of Sr. Analysts/Analysts in the respective departments
• Adhering to the schedule of work, including commitments by ensuring timely issue of results
• To ensure that the laboratory meets the customer’s requirements in terms of detection and quantification limits.
• Overall preparation of the Standard operating procedures and the work instructions. Ensure that the tests are done in accordance with the method
• Validation of the test methods and establish and standardize the new methods and tests as required by the market
• To ensure that the national and international standards are available for all tests and are followed while conduct of these test
• Maintain the Reference Materials in the laboratory and monitor their use
• Examine and verify test results and take actions if any
• Monitor the equipment maintenance and verification plan & calibration schedule & its implementation
• Calculation of the UOM for the tests in their respective departments and in house calibrations
• Implementation of ISO 17025 Quality System as applicable in the laboratory
• Review of reports & Authorisation of results 
• Authorisation of Personnel
• Authorisation for development, modification, verification & validation of method
• Authorisation for Statement of conformity or opinion & interpretation of results
• Authorisation for Equipment handling, calibration, Reference material maintenance
   

• To maintain turnaround time
• Correctness of the analytical results
• Validation of Methods and calibration and maintenance of equipment
• Support in identifying needs for skill development.
