Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical/ Electrical or equivalent degree in engineering
Job Profile
- He/she will be accountable for the outcomes achieved.
- He shall be responsible for planning, designing and implementing inspection protocols, develop and implement inspection schemes, authorize specific inspectors to conduct specific inspection.
- Ensure that the authorized inspectors have the required competence, discharge all functions, and take all actions in accordance with the provisions contained in the Agreement to fulfill the obligations of the TPI Agency as set out in the Agreement.
- He will be responsible and accountable for the end-to-end inspection process undertaken in his/her region.
- He will be authorized to take all the necessary decisions, reports and actions. He shall prepare the Inspection Scheme based on detailed description, drawings, specifications, quality assurance plan, and standards, which include the sampling plan, measurement/testing methodology, criteria for acceptance/rejection, and any other information necessary for conducting the inspection.
- To provide a minimum of two or more accepted quality suggestions for improvement in process inspection each month.
- Assignment/nomination of an authorized inspector for each product inspection/ process inspection based on their qualifications and experience.
- The inspection scheme and schedule of inspection shall be prepared with the approval of the concerned AM (QA) accordingly.
- The final inspection outcome, whether acceptance or rejection, as the case may be, shall be finalized with the approval of the concerned AM (QA).
- To prepare an Action Taken Report (ATR) after conducting a root cause analysis and take suitable punitive, corrective and preventive actions to assign responsibility for the failure and prevent recurrence. The report shall be submitted to the Authority along with the relevant periodical report, not later than 30 days from the date of finalization of the Joint Inspection outcome.
- To ensure that the team attends all the inspection calls registered within 7 days, failing which leads to penalty.
- Ensure that pre-inspected goods are not rejected by the consignee to avoid penalties.
- To maintain Zero Customer Complaints in order to avoid losing points in the KPI score.
- Ensure that the overall KPI score is maintained at the maximum level and does not fall below 70% under any circumstances. Implement an immediate mitigation plan to prevent a loss of KPI scores in the future.
- Furnish the monthly report on inspections carried out within 7 days after the end of each month to the Authority, detailing any defects or deficiencies noted, if any, with particular reference to the Scope of Work defined in Schedule I, along with corrective actions to reduce the occurrence of such defects or deficiencies.
