Job Profile

Researching potential vendors.

Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers.

Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing.

Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Review quality of purchased products.

Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.

Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.

Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.

Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.

Coordinate with lab personnel to ensure proper storage.

Work with team members, supervisors, and purchasing manager to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors.

Building vendor and supplier trust as well as track and monitor the delivery and confirmation of all materials and supplies.

Arranging service requirements for maintenance of lab equipments as and when required.

Arranging services for electrical, carpentry, plumbing or gas lines maintenance.
