ELOT 1429 - Management Adequacy of Organizations for Project Implementation
The standard ELOT 1429 "Management Adequacy of Organisations for the Implementation of Public Projects - Requirements" combines the requirements of a quality management system with those of a project management system.
Public works meet the needs of society as a whole and aim at development, social cohesion and improvement of the quality of life of citizens. These projects include co-financed projects of the 2014-2020 programming period, but also projects receiving public funding from national or Community resources in general.
The development of the set of standards on management adequacy has resulted from the need to improve the management and control systems of operations carried out under development interventions. The implementation and maintenance of a Management Adequacy System seeks to achieve the objectives of projects by making more efficient use of the resources allocated.
The standard is accompanied by three implementation guides that specify the implementation requirements for all three categories of projects:
The ELOT 1429 standard can also be applied by organisations implementing non-public projects and wishing to improve their management competence.
TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) is accredited by the ESYD for ELOT 1429 and the implementation guides ELOT 1431-1 , ELOT 1431-2 and ELOT 1431-3, offering services for the assessment and confirmation of Management Competency Systems of Organizations for Project Implementation of high quality and added value.
