What is the purpose of ISO 14001?

ISO 14001 applies to organisations of all sizes and sectors, covering the environmental aspects of their activities, products and services and is based on a life cycle approach.

The standard sets out the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS) in order to enhance the environmental performance of the organisation.
