Plant Propagation Material (PPM) is to establish rules for the production of healthy plants in order to ensure the quality and safety of the product as well as the protection of the environment. The standard sets clear criteria in matters concerning:

• Traceability
• Fertilizer management
• Plant protection management
• Pollutant management Waste

With PPM certification the nursery can promote compliance with GLOBALG.A.P. requirements regarding Propagating Material.

The necessary documents of the GLOBALG.A.P. system are:

• GLOBALG.A.P. Protocol: this is the requirements of the system with which the grower must comply
• GLOBALG.A.P. General Regulation: It defines the management regulations of the system.
• GLOBALG.A.P. Checkpoints and Compliance Criteria: Contains specific information on how the producer should comply with each requirement of the scheme
• GLOBALG.A.P. Questionnaire: Inspection points with which the producer should comply during the annual internal inspection.
