Agro 2 is a set of standards developed by the Hellenic Agricultural Organization - DIMITRA (ELGO-DIMITRA) for the certification of Integrated Management in agricultural production.

This is a pro-environmental production method, an alternative to conventional production, which aims at the rational use of inputs and the reduction of the use of chemical preparations. Compliance with the specifications of the system is checked by independent certification bodies.

The basic standards of the AGRO 2 series are as follows:

• AGRO 2-1: Defines the requirements for the organisation and operation of the agricultural holding in order to apply Integrated Farm Management.
• AGRO 2-2: Defines the requirements to be met during cultivation and harvesting for each specific type of product.
• AGRO 2-3: Defines the requirements for standardisation/packaging and/or placing on the market of IPM products.
• AGRO 2-4: Specifies the requirements for ginning and/or placing on the market of ginned IACS cotton
