The Cleaning Technicians & Cleaning Technicians scheme Metal Painting TÜV HELLAS refers on the one hand to a specialised technician who cleans or prepares metal surfaces (substrates) using abrasive means (sandblasting, shot blasting, water blasting) to remove oxidation, flaking, residues of old paint, removal of special types of paint and coatings and is practically the sandblaster-hydroblaster, and on the other hand a skilled craftsman who applies special protective and coating paints to the metal and is practically the metal surface painter.
