Shape field (scope)

  1. The Problem Solving - DigComp Certified User scheme is for users able to identify and solve technical problems when operating devices in digital environments, and to use technology monitoring tools to improve and develop lifelong digital skills.
  2. The Problem Solving - DigComp Certified User TÜV HELLAS scheme is offered in its entirety, as well as it can be subdivided into four sub-schemes and three levels:

Technical Problem Solving

It concerns the identification of technical problems when operating devices in a digital environment and their solution.

Identifying needs and technological solutions

Refers to assessing needs and identifying, selecting and using digital tools and possible technological responses to meet personal needs (e.g. accessibility).

Creative use of digital technology

It refers to the use of digital tools and technologies for knowledge creation and the use of innovative processes

 

 

Detecting the Digital Skills Gap

It is about understanding and identifying where to enhance digital competence, developing digital skills and seeking opportunities for self-development and digital development.

 

Candidates who have been certified in one of the sub-skills may apply for another by taking a supplementary examination.
