Social care workers for people with disabilities

The Disability Social Care Workers scheme refers to professionals specialised in the care of people with disabilities, who work or wish to work in relevant care structures (such as SYDs, CDFs), and can either be in charge of or indirectly assist in the care of these people. The scheme focuses on forms of disability that are internationally found under the term 'mental health' or mental disorders such as autism, mental retardation, etc.
