Course objectives

Sustainability has become an authority for business.

In addition, sustainability reporting is an important disclosure of an enterprise's environmental, social and governance performance. Companies must not only commit to sustainability, but also disclose their business strategies and implementation policies.

The AA1000 organisation has nearly 30 years of experience in the development of business responsibility audits, and its AA1000 Audit Standard V3 has gained the trust and attention of all professionals in the political, economic, social and scientific spheres around the world. Future impacts are not limited to corporate disclosure of sustainability reports, but also include sustainability education and training, licensing of professional functions, various sustainability seminars, and maintenance of qualifications for continuing education.

From 2025, at least one member of each validation team must be ACSAP qualified and TÜV NORD is an AA 1000 authorised training provider. Through this training course, you will learn about the key elements of practical stakeholder engagement, preparing a sustainability report through international standards, following the criteria and principles during an AA 1000 validation audit, charting the course for applying the AA 1000 validation criteria, and learning about real-life examples.

Completion of Module A: You will receive the Engagement Practitioner Certificate issued by AA1000.

Completion of Programme Module A+B: You will be awarded the Sustainability Practitioner Certificate (SP) issued by AA1000 and will be registered as Sustainability Practitioner (SP) on the AccountAbility website
Validity: 1 year, renewable annually (at your own cost). Valid for one year, renewable annually (at your own cost).

Completion of Programme Modules A+B+C: You will be awarded the Associate Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner Certificate issued by AA1000 and registered as ACSAP on the AccountAbility website.

Validity: 1 year, renewable annually (at your own expense).
