EN 9100 航空航天质量管理体系

At TÜV NORD CERT, both at home and abroad, audits and certifications are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the aviation industry based on the EN 9100 series of standards.

Due to the increasingly important quality and safety needs of the aerospace industry, the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard have been extended in an industry-specific way in EN 9100, which applies to all companies in the aerospace industry, such as manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and service providers.

In order to be recognized as a supplier to the aviation industry, manufacturers are required to be certified according to EN 9100. Therefore, only suppliers certified to EN 9100 ff can be registered in the OASIS database of the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG).

In addition to the basic requirements for a quality management system, the EN 9100 standard requires attention to the following:

  • Formation management system: monitoring the functionality and manufacturing phases of the product throughout its service life
  • Traceability: with regard to all raw materials and steps, tools, qualification of the personnel used.
  • Clarification of safety and functionality: meeting the requirements of customers and authorised representatives.
  • Risk analyses and assessments: e.g. when new technologies are used.

Just like DIN EN ISO 9001, companies must implement and document the requirements of EN 9100 and carry out certification audits to prove that they are certified and that the relevant requirements have been implemented.

TÜV NORD CERT offers an internationally recognised certification process for this standard as follows:

  • Co-ordinate the linkage structures and audit arrangements
  • Assessment of opportunities for pre-certification preparation of materials, e.g. on the basis of pre-audit availability
  • Audit and evaluation of the two-stage process through an internationally standardised questionnaire
  • Generation of a preliminary report on the results (including scoring) immediately after the audit
  • Audit summary, certification decision and issue of audit report
  • Confirmation of compliance and issuance of the certificate
  • Entry into the OASIS database (on request)

Our audits can only be carried out by accredited auditors who have passed the relevant tests and have professional experience in the aerospace industry. In order to be accredited, auditors have been trained and tested on the requirements of this standard through a training system that is recognised by the International Organisation for Quality in Aerospace (IOQA) and the Federal Organisation of the German Aerospace Industry (Bundesverband Deutscher Aerospacewirtschaftsverband).
