SOTIF Services (Safety of the Intended Functionality)

Background and scope of application

SOTIF addresses the safety risks caused by insufficient functions and performance of sensors, algorithms, and actuators in intelligent driving systems (corresponding to the complex environment of intelligent driving).

The concept of SOTIF is described in detail in ISO/PAS 21448. This standard provides a framework for identifying and assessing risks caused by imperfect system functionality or inadequate environmental awareness.

Scope of services:

Provide training courses for engineering and management personnel in the intelligent driving industry

  • ISO21448 standard interpretation and methodological introduction
  • ISO21448 process capacity building explanation
  • ISO21448 explanation of technical practical cases

Provide ISO21448 certification services for intelligent driving enterprises

  • Process gap analysis
  • Technical Issues Review
  • Certification of enterprise ISO21448 process management ability
  • The product expected functional safety certification of the ISO21448 of the enterprise's intelligent driving products
