Electrical and electronic product certification stems from the standardized needs for equipment safety, electromagnetic compatibility, RED, human-computer interaction, and energy efficiency. Especially under the wave of Industry 4.0 and intelligentization, directives, regulations, and standards are continuously upgraded; products exported to the EU need to comply with relevant Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU),
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2014/30/EU), RED (2014/53/EU), Energy Efficiency Directive (EU 2019/1781, etc.), and the harmonized standards under corresponding directives.
Electrical and electronic products and services include:
TÜV Baumuster Mark
TÜV Baumuster mark is a widely recognized and unique voluntary safety certification mark for electrical and electronic products.
CE Mark
CE is an abbreviation of the French phrase "Conformité Européenne", which means "European Conformity" in English. The CE mark is a declaration by the manufacturer that its product complies with relevant EU safety directives. Products with CE certification can be freely sold and distributed in the EU market without additional approval, which avoids the risk of trade protection within the EU. Importers are responsible for the labeling of products produced outside the EU and their compliance with regulations.
GS Mark
GS is the abbreviation of the German phrase "Geprüfte Sicherheit", which is translated as "Safety Certified". It was established based on the German Product and Equipment Safety Act (GPSG). Since 1977, it has been the only mark in the European market to prove voluntary compliance with product safety regulations.
EMC
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is crucial to ensure that electrical devices and equipment can work independently and normally in the electromagnetic environment without causing interference to other devices and systems. In the requirements of regulations for manufacturers, EMC is also a core characteristic that products must meet.
RED
EU mandatory certification for radio equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, electromagnetic compatibility, spectrum, and health requirements, covering access to all wireless products.
ERP
Many energy-related products have great potential for improvement through optimized design to reduce environmental impact and achieve energy conservation. At the same time, this also saves economic costs for businesses and end consumers.
EMF Electromagnetic Field radiation
Electrical and electronic certification is based on safety and supported by intelligence, covering the entire chain from components to system integration, providing compliance guarantees and competitiveness endorsement for industrial automation and intelligent transformation.
