TÜV HELLAS is one of the first certification bodies accredited by the ESYD for the ELOT 1435 standard, having issued more than 40 certificates.

The ELOT 1435 Standard:2009 is addressed to Communication Service Providers (Advertising Companies, Media Planning and Time and Space Planning Companies, Public Relations Companies, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing Companies, Distinctive Branding Companies) and aims to ensure their Management Competence and thus quality in the advertising promotion of the Public Sector and the wider Public Sector in print and electronic media.

It defines specific conditions and requirements that Communication Service Providers must meet and apply irrespective of the legal form, size or category of the communication project implemented.

The benefits of certification for a company, irrespective of the nature of its clientele, can be summarised as follows:

  • Improvement of the organisation, which ultimately leads to increased effectiveness and efficiency
  • Systematic control of processes/activities, which results in avoiding and preventing failures and errors
  • Compliance with Law 3688/2008 (Government Gazette 163/A/2008), according to which certification is necessary in order to participate in public and public sector tenders
  • Clear definition of the tasks and responsibilities of staff, which contributes to increasing productivity
  • Increased confidence of Clients and the Market in general in its ability to consistently provide communication services, given that the inspection and subsequent certification is carried out by an independent body (Certification Body)
  • Increased Customer satisfaction
