The design and production of metal structures and equipment under pressure require, among other things, the development of welding procedures, their certification and the certification of welders/operators.

One of the objective purposes of the services offered by our construction organization is to ensure the quality of the performed work in the field of welding.

Our offered services include:

• elaboration of welding methods (WPS), in accordance with international standards and codes such as :EN ISO 15609, ASME IX, AWS, API 1104
• Certification of welding methods and issuance of PQR or WPQR certificates, with destructive and non-destructive tests according to EN ISO 15614, ASME IX, AWS, API 1104, EN ISO 14555 standards
• certification of welders/operators according to EN ISO 9606, ASME IX, AWS, API 1104, EN ISO 14732, EN ISO 14555

TÜV HELLAS as a Notified Body in the EU under number 0654 offers certification services for welding methods and welders/operators for manufacturers of pressure equipment in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED).
