Measurements of Energy Metrics

Measurements of Energy Metrics

The Energy and Environmental Inspections Department undertakes the measurement of energy and environmental parameters with proprietary calibrated portable equipment in accordance with Greek and International legislation and following Greek and International Measurement Standards.

The Energy and Environmental Inspections Department undertakes the measurement of energy quantities (temperatures, pressures, fluid velocities) and environmental quantities, such as:

  1. solid particulate matter,
  2. gaseous pollutants (carbon monoxide-CO, carbon dioxide-CO2, sulphur dioxide-SO2, nitrogen oxides-NOx, volatile organic compounds-POE, soot, etc.),
  3. inhalable & respirable solid particles,
  4. temperature/humidity,
  5. noise of all types of installations.

The above measurements are carried out with proprietary calibrated portable equipment in accordance with Greek and international legislation and following Greek and international measurement standards for the purpose of energy and environmental assessment and subsequent improvement of the energy and environmental behaviour of industrial-industrial facilities and buildings.

In addition, the Energy and Environmental Inspections Department may carry out audits and inspections on issues related to:

  • Energy production and consumption
  • Combined heat and power generation
  • Εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας
  • Μείωση εκπομπών από διάφορες εγκαταστάσεις
  • Environmental aspects of production processes

Our organisation is able to assess the energy needs and consumption as well as the environmental impact of industrial activities and to propose corresponding improvements in terms of both energy saving and reduction of gaseous, liquid and solid pollutants.
