Scope
The TÜV HELLAS Metal Cleaning & Coating Technician certification scheme refers, on one hand, to a specialized technician who, using mechanical means, cleans or prepares metal surfaces (substrates) by employing abrasive techniques (such as sandblasting, shot blasting, and hydro-blasting) to remove oxidation, scale, old paint residues, or specialized coatings—effectively acting as the Sandblaster/Hydroblaster.
On the other hand, it refers to a specialized technician who applies protective and coating paints to metal surfaces—effectively acting as the Metal Surface Painter.
