The ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) is a globally recognised standard for construction of Boilers, Pressure equipment, piping and components for Process Plants, Power Plants and for nuclear applications. ASME Certification Mark with applicable Designators is a mandatory requirement for Boilers and Pressure Vessels being put into use in US and CANADA. ASME BPVC is also used for construction of Boilers and Pressure Vessels worldwide.

TÜV UK provides ASME Authorized Inspection Agency Services (AIA) in the UK and through our sister company TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG based in Essen, Germany, which is an ASME accredited Authorized Inspection Agency.

In addition to ASME Code Services we also offer services with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. National Board governs the fields of Installation, In-service Inspections, Repair and Alterations, and Pressure Relief Devices.
