Operation Clean Sweep (OCS)

TÜV NORD Italia is a Certification Body authorised by Plastic Europe to issue OCS* certificates for the reduction of plastic pollution.

The Operation Clean Sweep scheme aims at controlling and documenting the compliance of companies that are part of the whole plastics supply chain regarding the prevention of the dispersion of plastic pellets and granules into the environment.

This certification scheme, which applies to any company involved in the production, transport, storage and processing of plastics raw materials, recognises that certified companies are voluntarily committed to reducing environmental pollution and is an important factor in demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and a Green modus operandi.
