Milestone for safe AI use within healthcare: Mentech Innovation receives ISO 42001 certification from TÜV NORD

Mentech Innovation has become one of the first organisations in Europe to receive the ISO 42001 certificate. This new standard focuses on the responsible design, development and application of artificial intelligence. For the Eindhoven-based company, which creates AI systems for long-term care, the certification is an important recognition of how technology and ethics go hand in hand within its work.

Mentech Innovation develops AI-based solutions that support care professionals in complex situations. Examples include HUME, which detects tension and stress in clients, and NOA, a virtual assistant that helps reduce workload for care teams and provides clients with close support.
