IFS Food: Demonstrate food safety, save costs

With an International Food Standard certification from TÜV NORD CERT, you can prove the food safety of your products in retail. IFS Food certification is based on an internationally recognized standard of the International Featured Standards and is recognized by the GFSI and accredited by the DAkkS. Target group

The IFS Food Standard is used to audit suppliers of private labels and other food companies and only relates to

  1. the food processing companies
  2. or to companies that pack loose food products.

The IFS Food Standard only applies if the product is processed or handled or if there is a risk of product contamination during the primary packaging process.

IFS Food can therefore not be used for import business (offices, e.g. typical intermediaries) or for the areas of transportation, storage and distribution.
