QMS Calculation Specialist - Remote

The QMS Calculation Specialist provides assistance and support for the development and growth of the certification services in accordance with the statutory regulations, the provisions of the Articles of Association, the resolution of the Governing Board, the TUV USA Quality Manual and the procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Calculation of IMS audit duration, including complex clients;

  • Supporting the Sales Division in day to day activities;

  • Send out company information to prospects and consultants;

  • Issue latest TUV Terms and Conditions to prospects;

  • Liaison with prospects and consultants;

  • Maintain SalesForce and other organizational tools;

  • Preparation through finalization of quotes;

  • Internet searches to obtain prospect information on their activities and enable EA code to be identified;

  • Create, organize and maintain customer electronic files;

  • Liaison with corporate office (Germany) to determine accredited scope, man day calculations, quotation figures, approved assessors, when necessary;

  • Answering office telephone and department emails. 

Required Skills

  • Required: Experience in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) - Quality and Inspection services;
  • Required: A working knowledge of MD1, MD5, IATF, AS and IMS standards;
  • Required: Ability to calculate audit duration for corporate sites with multiple sub-sites, standards and schemes;
  • Multiple relevant standards is preferred – ISO, IATF, Aerospace, Food Safety and Medical;
  • Good written and verbal skills in order to communicate certification matters effectively with prospects, consultants, assessors, inspectors, staff and the general public;
  • Responsible for monitoring industry specific updates to relative standards independently and proactively;
  • Must be confident, self-motivated, have good organizational skills, capable of working independently as well as part of a team;
  • SalesForce experience;
  • EA code experience;
  • Must be able to demonstrate competency in the use of Microsoft Office applications; including Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience

  • Required: 5 years of experience in Integrated Management Systems
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience in Certification or Accreditation Body
  • Preferred: Experience in Multi-international Environment

Education

  • Bachelor Degree or 5 years of experience in the industry
  • Fluency in German Language is a plus but not required
