This two-day IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Training course will provide you with information, application and structure of the IEC 62443 series Standards and the different scenario of IEC 62443 certification to your IACS cybersecurity system, process and product. Through lectures, discussion and workshops, we will review the requirements of IEC 62443 series standards to gain basic understanding on the cybersecurity, comparing the IT/OT system and the information security management system such as ISO27001. We will introduce TUV S4S (Security for Safety) methodology for the risk assessment on the IACS to cost-effectively prioritize the counter measures and mitigation plan for cybersecurity, particularly on the SIF and functional safety associated implementation.
During this course, the application and requirements of IEC 62443 series Standards will be discussed in two days and in nine modules.
Module 1: Introduction of Cybersecurity and Security In this module, you will learn about the basis information of cybersecurity and security.
Module 2: Introduction of Industry Automation Control System (IACS) In this module, you will learn the basis information of IACS and the IT/OT system.
Module 3: Introduction of Critical Infrastructure (CI) In this module, you will learn the basis information of CI and the implementation trends.
Module 4: Introduction of IEC 62443 Series Standards In this module, you will learn the structure of IEC 62443 series Standards and the application of different scenario to system, process and product. The IECEE CB scheme and TUV certification scheme to Cybersecurity and Industry 4.0 readiness.
Module 5: Introduction of IEC 62443-2-1 and IEC 62443-2-4 In this module, you will learn what is the guidelines and requirements of cybersecurity management system (CSMS) and cybersecurity requirements for Service Provider.
Module 6: Introduction of IEC 62443-3-2 and S4S In this module, you will learn how to conduct risk assessment based the standard and the TUV S4S methodology.
Module 7: Introduction of IEC 62443-3-3 and IEC 62443-4-1 In this module, you will learn the cybersecurity requirements for System Integrator and Product Developer.
Module 8: Introduction of IEC 62443-4-2 In this module, you will learn the applicable device categories: embedded, network, host devices and application to the designated security level. Starts from the 7 Foundational Requirements (FRs): IAC, UC, SI, DC, RDF, TRE, RA, to the associated Components Requirements (CRs) designated to each type of component: SAR, EDR, HDR, NDR; The CRs may also include a set of requirement enhancements (REs), the combination of CRs and REs is what will determine the target security level that a component is capable of.
Module 9: Quiz 8~10 fundamental multiple choice questions and 1 short answer question (open book) quiz for 30 min., the passing rate is 70%.
*During the day-two course, attendees are required to actively participate in all workshops and quiz.
