Nuclear Divison

TÜV UK Limited, a TÜV Nord Group company, has a new UK Nuclear Division consisting of a team of TÜV UK Limited staff with access to large numbers of specialist consultants and subcontractors to deliver services into the nuclear industry. After its inception in 2017, this new division started targeting two distinct offering areas: Inspection & Specialist Nuclear Consultancy. TÜV UK Limited’s Nuclear Division is supported by over 500 nuclear experts in Germany, who are the front end of the nuclear regulator in most German states and also other Nuclear Divisions round the world.

Inspection: The application of existing primarily TÜV UK Limited’s Manufacturing Technology skills into the nuclear site equipment industry, per our UKAS approvals as a notified body. This is delivered by full time staff and contracted specialist self-employed contractors working under our procedures and under the control of qualified and experienced TÜV UK staff.

Specialist Nuclear Consultancy: The provision of elite consultancy services from TÜV UK Limited’s Nuclear Associates, some of whom have held the most senior positions in the UK regulatory system, Government and the nuclear industry. With key experience in nuclear site operations; nuclear site licensing; nuclear new build; nuclear strategy and technology projects; UK policy and regulatory environment including stakeholder engagement, communications and Government advisory services; academia: process engineering design; research and development; nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management; nuclear security; our experts have a combined experience of over 500 years across the sector.
