Impartiality PolicyTUV Nord Gulf seeks to attain the highest degree of public confidence and trust in rendering unbiased services. FAHES Inspection & Inspection fully acknowledges the importance of impartiality in carrying out its NDT & Welding Inspection Services that are governed by the requirements of the International Standard ISO 17020 and every member of its Inspection services team, employees, volunteers, and contractors that commits and adhere to the following policies: a. TUV Nord Gulf will act impartially, within its policies and requirements to practice fairness and veracity prior to inspection and Inspection guidelines. b. TUV Nord Gulf will not restrict Inspection services on the grounds of undue financial or other limiting conditions, such as membership of an association or group. c. TUV Nord Gulf will be responsible for the impartiality of its Inspection services and will not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality. d TUV Nord Gulf does not offer training as part of the Inspection services, candidates must attend and complete required training course by an authorized authority. e. TUV Nord Gulf will not disclose reports to the clients during the Inspection services but can disclose to the customers by inspection coordinators after the completion of the Inspection reports, and authorities having jurisdiction for the purpose of reporting compliance or in cases of conflicts or non-conformances. All documentation or records which are intended for any other purpose and viewed by any other party than mentioned above can only be disclosed with a written consent. f. TUV Nord Gulf will ensure through internal procedures, the objectivity of the Inspection services and inspection activities and manage potential conflict of interest according to the standards of the applicability. g. TUV Nord Gulf will base all of its decisions on objective evidence obtained through an effective process based on objective evidence of conformity or nonconformity, and that any decisions made are not influenced by other interested parties. h. TUV Nord Gulf corporate policies and practices ensure that the highest standards of integrity are applied to all Inspection services and Inspection services activities. i. TUV Nord Gulf personnel will not be influenced by financial, commercial, or other pressures when conducting Inspection and inspection services, and will take action to address any situation that would affect impartiality. Personnel are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest in the Declaration Form . k. TUV Nord Gulf personnel taking part in Inspection services and inspection activities, both internal and external, will act impartially when executing their responsibilities. l. TUV Nord Gulf will identify threats to its impartiality on an ongoing basis, these includes threats that arise from its activities, related bodies, connections, or relationships of its personnel. m. TUV Nord Gulf will enter into legally-enforceable agreements with its clients and retain all authority and responsibility for Inspection services and inspection activities, decisions and statements. n. TUV Nord Gulf management system has necessary protocols and guidelines to ensure that these policies are strictly upheld, enforced and implemented. o. TUV Nord Gulf recognizes that threats to impartiality include the following: i. Self-interest threats - threats that arise from a person or body acting in its own interest to benefit itself ii.
